José Francisco Amaya
José Francisco Amaya, born in Almería in 1997, received his musical education at the Conservatorio Profesional de Música de Cartagena, Centro Superior Katarina Gurska, Real Conservatorio Superior de Música de Madrid, and Conservatorio Superior de Música de Murcia. He completed his piano studies with the highest possible grade of 10/10. His artistic development was particularly influenced by the pianist Luis Fernando Pérez.
He received further important musical impulses from Eldar Nebolsin and through masterclasses with renowned pianists including Ewa Kupiec, Pavel Nersessian, Denis Lossev, Antonio Pompa-Baldi, Andreas Frölich, Vincenzo Balzani, and Albert Atenelle.
José Francisco Amaya has been a finalist in numerous regional, national, and international piano competitions. In 2019, he was awarded Third Prize at the International FIPMA Piano Competition in Málaga, and in 2025 he was a finalist at the prestigious Concurso Nacional de Piano de Albacete.
Alongside his concert career, he has been active as a piano teacher for many years. From 2022 to 2025, he taught at two piano schools in Madrid, gaining extensive experience working with children, teenagers, and adults.
As a pianist, he has performed in numerous concerts throughout Spain and Germany. Together with his brother Víctor, he forms the piano duo “Piano Entre Hermanos,” which regularly performs in concert halls across Spain.

I can highly recommend “The Piano Salon” because several family members have been taking piano lessons here for some time. The teacher is very patient and friendly. He makes the lessons varied, which means that the children always enjoy the lessons, are encouraged to practice independently and will hopefully maintain their enjoyment of playing the piano in the long term. Great piano teacher who has been teaching my son and now me with a lot of patience for 6 years. It's great that I can choose pieces that I like musically so that I enjoy practicing.
