Christine Söring – Pianist & Piano Teacher
Music has been a part of my life since early childhood. I began playing the piano at the age of six and was accepted as a junior student at the Cologne University of Music at thirteen, studying in the piano class of Professor Weinrebe. After finishing school, I continued my studies there, majoring in piano, and graduated as a certified piano teacher under Prof. Pi-Hsien Chen-Eötvös. I then pursued a second degree in audio engineering (Tonmeister) at the University of the Arts in Berlin.
For over two decades, I worked as an audio engineer at renowned theatres such as the Schaubühne in Berlin, the Thalia Theater in Hamburg, and the Münchner Kammerspiele. Throughout those years, music remained at the heart of everything I did.
Since 2019, I’ve returned full-time to my original profession – piano teaching – with great passion and a wealth of experience. I take joy in inspiring people of all ages, whether beginners or advanced students, and in opening the door to the rich world of classical piano music.

I can highly recommend “The Piano Salon” because several family members have been taking piano lessons here for some time. The teacher is very patient and friendly. He makes the lessons varied, which means that the children always enjoy the lessons, are encouraged to practice independently and will hopefully maintain their enjoyment of playing the piano in the long term. Great piano teacher who has been teaching my son and now me with a lot of patience for 6 years. It's great that I can choose pieces that I like musically so that I enjoy practicing.
